Go beyond a box of chocolates and a dozen red roses this Valentine’s Day and give the gift of a Costa cruise to create memories that will last a lifetime. Costa Cruises is spreading the amore with up to 20 percent savings on select Mediterranean sailings, providing an affordable Valentine’s Day surprise that can be enjoyed later in the year.
Travelers looking to explore the Mediterranean while experiencing Costa’s charming, international ambiance can take advantage of reduced fares on select cruises from March 2019 through May 2020 aboard nine of the line’s ships, including the soon-to-launch LNG-fueled flagship, Costa Smeralda. Cruises must be booked by Feb. 28, 2019, to receive the special rates.
“The Mediterranean has long been recognized as one of the most romantic regions in the world, and Costa is making it affordable to give the gift of a cruise this Valentine’s Day,” said Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and marketing for Costa Cruises North America. “While the holiday might be only one day a year, Italians are known for celebrating love year-round. There’s no better place to embrace the romance of the Med than on a Costa cruise.”
Create Unforgettable Moments
Couples can enhance the romance during their Costa cruise by adding the “Unforgettable Moments” package for 300 euros. The package includes a bottle of Jacquart Champagne, chocolate-coated strawberries, a heart-shaped cake, a photo shoot including 10 professional photos (prints and digital) and soft sponge bathrobes.
Guests also can add a romantic three-course surf-and-turf “Dinner Under the Stars” on the Lido Deck to their voyage for 35 euros per person. The dinner can be booked on the ship when available.
The rates are available on Basic and Total Comfort fares and select CostaClub privileged departures. The savings are applied automatically at the time of booking.
