World Ocean & Cruise Liner Society members named Holland America Line the Best Overall Cruise Value 2014 for the 22nd consecutive year in the publication’s annual Best Cruise Value Awards.

When ms Koningsdam debuts in 2016, the ship will feature Holland America Line’s first-ever purpose-built staterooms for families as well as single staterooms among its 1,331 guest accommodations (total capacity is 2,650).

Holland America Line announced today that effective Dec. 1, Orlando Ashford will join the company as president to lead the award-winning cruise line’s brand and business, including its fleet of 15 premium vessels carrying approximately 850,000 guests annually to all seven continents.
When Holland America Line’s ms Koningsdam sets sail in February 2016 the ship will head to the azure waters of the Mediterranean on a seven-day Premiere Voyage and continue on a series of 12-day Premiere Sailings through early May 2016.
