As millions of families plan an upcoming vacation, many are reminded that these adventures need to cater to every family member’s needs and interests. With more travelers than ever considering cruise vacations, Costa Cruises is making it easier and more affordable for holidaymakers to embark on a relaxing European vacation this fall and winter.

Whether exploring bustling Barcelona or the colorful Cinque Terre coastline, Costa’s exciting itineraries, unique Italian ambiance, sommelier-selected wine lists and unbeatable programming for kids and teens make the cruise line an ideal choice to unplug and recharge. Plus, on select voyages kids sail free when cruising as the third and fourth guests in the cabin — and they also receive an onboard spending credit that can be used toward a variety of amenities.

“In this age of technology, why not disconnect to reconnect with your family?” said Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and marketing for Costa Cruises North America. “Cruising with Costa gives guests of all ages multiple entertainment options from Squok Club and Peppa Pig activities for the kids, to incredible cuisine, spa and destinations for the adults. Families can share once-in-a-lifetime experiences and make lasting memories at a very affordable rate with our Kids Sail Free promotion.”

From sunrise to sunset, parents will have little to worry about as Costa’s Squok Club gives junior cruisers an almost endless selection of activities, including sport competitions, pool parties, face painting, dance lessons, themed dinners and the Princess and Captain for a Day programs.

Enhancing the adventure is a partnership with Peppa Pig, providing the youngest family members with Peppa-filled fun every day. Many of the line’s Squok Clubs have been decorated to re-create the instantly recognizable environment of Peppa’s stories, with hills of green grass, houses, puddles, trees, balloons, Peppa, her little brother George and all their friends. The outdoor swimming pool area reserved for children has been completely redesigned based on a Peppa pirate theme. Special events are offered onboard where children can meet Peppa costume characters and go on exciting adventures.

Costa’s Teen Junior Club (ages 12-14) and Teen Club (ages 15-17) ensures tweens and teens don’t succumb to boredom with unique activities that include dance and music courses, karaoke, talent shows, painting T-shirts, evening pool parties and sports tournaments.

Adults can find plenty to do onboard as well. From pampering treatments in the spa and lounging by the pool to sports tournaments and evening disco parties, there’s never-ending excitement on a Costa cruise. Together, families can take in the action at the 4D cinema, put the pedal to the metal at the Grand Prix Simulator, go for a hole-in-one at the outdoor miniature golf course and, on Costa Diadema, dodge laser beams at the Star Laser Zone.

Families looking to experience the magic of the Mediterranean can take advantage of the Kids Sail Free promotion when traveling together this fall and winter on select cruises into 2018. The cabin also receives an onboard credit up to $200 per cabin that can be used toward gift shop purchases, shore excursions, alternative dining and more.

For example, a family of four could enjoy a Costa Diadema cruise from Barcelona, Spain, for $998, plus port charges and gratuities. For Costa Favolosa’s Nov. 2 departure from Barcelona, rates start at $447 per person for the first and second person in the cabin, with kids cruising free as the third and fourth guests.
